Take Control of Your Health

Do you consider yourself to be healthy?  Do you think you need to take your prescription meds to be healthy?  Do you think you need a vaccination to prevent the flu?  Do you think you need to drink milk for your bones?  The list goes on and on.

Just look around and you will see just about everyone is in some sort of ill health.  Most everyone has some complaint ranging from minor aches and pains to some major disease.  They probably answered yes to every question except the first one.  Either they’re watching too much TV, going to a doctor or both.  All those pills for all those symptoms.

Good health is not that hard to achieve.  Just stop listening to others and listen to your body instead. Are you full? How do you feel after drinking milk?  How do you feel after a spaghetti dinner?  Are you thirsty?  Do you drink coffee, soda or plain ‘ole water.

Let’s simplify things.  Start doing everything differently.  As soon as you wake up in the morning, drink two glasses of water.  Start making smoothies with half green leafy vegetables and half fruit.  Do this for at least one week and notice how you feel.  Go out for walks, get some sunshine. Go to sleep when it gets dark and wake up when the sun rises.  Clean out your colon, then the liver and kidneys.  Also clean out the things in your life that don’t serve your best interest.  Aim for balance which is even energy throughout the day.  No more peaks and crashes interrupting your energy levels.  Eliminating all sugar and starches is how this is achieved.  But stay away from the artificial (chemical) sweeteners as they bring about even more problematic side effects.

Since everyone is different, your body needs will be somewhat unique as well.  Your constitution, blood sugar levels and digestion will indicate what is best for you.

Your health does not only relate to your physical body, but your thoughts, beliefs and habits are just as important.  Your body, mind and spirit are all related and interconnect with each other.  Your mind tells your body what to do, unless it is responding to those old worn out patterns and habits.

Since you can’t count on anyone but yourself, it’s time to start taking control of your own health.  Work with your body.  It is there to serve you.  Keep all your body parts.  Don’t allow them to remove your organs.  Clean them up.  You need them.  Better yet, prevent it from even becoming an issue.

As you begin to clean and heal, you will begin to notice you have so much more potentialStart today.
